About $30,000 was raised. Hughes did her part skating to Tina Turner's "Proud Mary". She wore a black and silver unitard and included a Charlotte into a layback spin in her program. Emily hopes to include this move in her programs this year.

The Michael Weiss Foundation Show will raise money for rising figure skating stars. Emily Hughes will be one of the performers.

The Satuday, September 9 show will take place at Skatequest in Reston, Virginia, at 2:30 p.m.
