Emily started classes last week at Harvard in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She is a full-time student living in the dorm and will continue to train for competitions at the Skating Club of Boston. Her coaches while at school are Mark Mitchell and Peter Johansson and while at home in New York is still Bonni Retzkin.

Emily made her first appearance as a guest skater in Sun Valley, Idaho on Saturday, August 4, 2007, at the Sun Valley Ice Show.
